LendInvest Capital was originally established as Montello in 2008, in response to the retrenchment of bank lending in the UK real estate market. In the years following, Montello was able to capture a significant market share and reputation as a leading short-term real estate lender.

In 2013, the Montello principals founded LendInvest, an online marketplace lender, offering investors on its platform the opportunity to form club deals in secured real estate loans.

LendInvest is considered to be one of the world’s most innovative financial technology businesses, which it achieves by investing sustainably in technology.

Today, LendInvest Capital, until recently known as Montello Capital Management, is the fund management and advisory arm of the group. LendInvest Capital’s secured lending strategies continue to yield attractive and stable returns for its investors, with significant downside protection. LendInvest Capital manages assets on behalf of institutional investors, banks, family offices and private clients.
